NEW: Skip an upsell flow once a product was added from it

Upsell flows have a fourth option under Products already in the cart: skip the flow once the shopper has added a product from it.
The Update
The existing option Skip this whole flow if any of its products is in the cart looks at what is in the cart, not at how it got there. If a shopper added one of the flow's products from a collection page, the flow stepped aside before it ever made its pitch.
The new option Skip this whole flow if a product was already added from it only reacts to the flow's own conversions. The flow keeps showing until the shopper actually takes one of its offers, then makes room for the next flow in line.
What's New
Skips after a conversion, not after any add: A product only counts when it was added from this flow, in the cart drawer, on the product page, or in checkout. The same product added through a regular product page leaves the flow running.
Counts recommendations that led to a purchase: When a shopper sees the flow's recommendation, opens the product, and adds it from its product page shortly after, that also counts as added from the flow.
Works across the cart and checkout: A product added from the flow in the cart drawer also skips it in checkout, and the other way round.
AI additions do not count: Products that Smart Insert or Smart Extend placed into the flow are not part of your configured flow, so adding one of them leaves the flow active.
In-cart products stay hidden: While the flow is still showing, products already in the cart are hidden the same way as with the recommended option.
Impact on Your Store
- Make one clear offer per order, like a warranty or gift wrap, without repeating it after the shopper said yes.
- Hand the spot to your next flow once the first offer converted, so shoppers see something new.
- Keep flows running for shoppers who found the product on their own and have not seen the offer yet.
Configuration
In Upsells → Manual upsells, open a flow and find the Products already in the cart section. Pick Skip this whole flow if a product was already added from it and save. The option is available for checkout flows as well. Existing flows keep their current setting.
Why This Matters
A shopper who already said yes to an offer does not need to see it again. Skipping the flow after that point keeps your cart focused on what they have not considered yet.
