NEW: Mobile-friendly admin + Built for Shopify polish
EliteCart's admin is now fully mobile-friendly - every page reworked so you can manage your cart, rewards, upsells, analytics, and checkout modules from your phone with the same control you have on desktop. The release also lands a polish pass against Shopify's Built for Shopify quality bar, with cleaner status surfaces, less promotional clutter, and EliteCart's own brand color on AI affordances.
The Update
Shopify merchants increasingly run their stores from the Shopify mobile app. Until now, EliteCart's admin pages were desktop-first - the Cart Designer preview overlapped the page on small screens, the reward bar couldn't scroll horizontally, the analytics cards stacked awkwardly, and the checkout module detail page didn't lay out cleanly. None of that mattered on a 27-inch monitor; all of it mattered on a phone.
This release reworks the layout for every merchant-facing admin page so you can configure EliteCart wherever you happen to be. Alongside the mobile work, we ran the admin against Shopify's Built for Shopify review checklist and fixed every item flagged - together, the two efforts upgrade the admin from "fine on desktop" to "polished on every screen, matched to Shopify's quality bar".
What's New
Cart Designer on mobile
The Cart Designer preview no longer overlaps the configuration page on small screens. The reward bar settings scroll horizontally on mobile so you can scrub through every reward, and a horizontal top nav replaces the desktop sidebar so the editor itself takes the whole viewport. Same controls, a layout that fits a phone.
Analytics, Plan, Start & schedule - responsive
The Analytics page metric cards reflow on mobile instead of squashing. The Plan page renders cleanly at every width - including the responsive loading skeleton. Start & schedule lays out properly at thumb width.
Checkout module detail page on mobile
The new Checkout module pages - Upsells, Reward Bar, Add-on - are mobile-responsive from day one, so the whole new Checkout pillar is configurable on a phone.
Built for Shopify polish
A polish pass against Shopify's Built for Shopify quality review: a persistent status badge on the homepage confirms whether the theme app embed is active in your storefront, Reward discount Create/details links go straight to the Rewards section instead of bouncing through nav, and promotional "Upgrade" wording in plan-gated areas is neutralized. The Checkout navigation is hidden for non-Plus stores so the surface stays clean.
EliteAI brand pass
The "magic" purple sparkles previously used on AI affordances are replaced with EliteCart's own brand color and an EliteAI sparkles icon - a small thing on its own, but it pulls the AI features into the rest of the admin's visual identity instead of borrowing Shopify's accent.
EN/DE translations refreshed
Every string touched by the rework has up-to-date English and German translations. German merchants get the new mobile layouts and Built for Shopify copy without falling back to English.
Impact on Your Store
Concretely, this is what's now realistic from a phone:
- Configure a Checkout Upsell while your laptop is closed - pick the strategy, set the texts, hit Save.
- Adjust a reward threshold during a sale - scroll the reward bar horizontally, tap into the threshold you need, change it.
- Check today's analytics on the train - the cards lay out properly, the numbers are readable.
- Approve theme-app-embed status - the homepage status badge tells you at a glance whether the storefront is wired up.
Configuration
There's nothing to enable - the new layouts apply automatically. Open any EliteCart admin page on your phone (or resize a desktop window narrow) and you'll see the new responsive layout. The homepage theme-app-embed status badge appears at the top of the home view.
Why This Matters
A Shopify app's admin is part of the merchant's daily workflow, not a configuration screen you set up once. Making every page work on a phone removes a friction shared with most other Shopify apps: the assumption that store configuration is desktop work. It isn't anymore - and EliteCart's admin now reflects that, with a Built for Shopify polish pass to match.
