The Update
The entire EliteCart admin experience is now available in German. Every menu, setting, notice, and tooltip — from the Cart Designer to rewards to the upsell flow builder — has been translated end-to-end. No half-English screens, no machine-translated copy: a proper, natural version.
We deliberately chose not to run this through an automated pipeline. One of our founders is a native German speaker and personally reviewed the full interface, including the tricky cases where a literal translation just doesn't land.
What's New
Fully localized admin: Every page in the EliteCart dashboard now speaks German — including form fields, error messages, dropdowns, and placeholder text.
Natural phrasing, not literal translation: E-commerce terminology, buttons, and helper text use the wording that German-speaking merchants actually use day-to-day.
Consistent tone: The entire interface addresses you informally and directly, consistent across every section.
Tooltips and inline help in German: The explanatory micro-copy that guides you while configuring features is translated as well, not just the top-level labels.
Impact on Your Store
If you or your team prefer working in German, you no longer have to mentally translate while setting up EliteCart. Onboarding is faster, there are fewer misconfigurations, and it's easier to try new features.

- Agencies setting up EliteCart for German-speaking clients

Configuration
The German interface follows your Shopify admin language setting automatically. If your Shopify account is set to German, EliteCart appears in German — no extra setup.
You can switch back to English at any time by changing the language in your Shopify admin preferences.
Why This Matters
A tool you use every day should feel like it was built for you — not just translated. With the German version, we want EliteCart to feel as natural for German-speaking merchants as it does for English-speaking ones.
